Lisa Bowles' collection of handmade lamps and accessories is a return to her original passion – sculpture. As a Fine-Arts major, Lisa began her academic journey as a sculptor and then turned her keen eye into a decades-long career as an Interior Designer and dealer of European mid-century furniture. Lisa considers herself a sculptor and a maker of functional art. Her hand formed and carved sculptural lamps inspired by artists including Arp, Moore, Nevelson are crafted with thoughtful consideration of each form and their purpose within an environment. Bowles choice of custom finishes - using her recipe of European waxed lacquer and signature black bonded bronze creates lustrous forms.
