After completing her education at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Karen found her calling in purchasing and showroom management, working for exclusive design showrooms at the Design Center of the Americas in Florida and then ADAC in Atlanta. When she joined HD+A, she brought more than 20 years of experience in purchasing high-end goods, for both interior designers and a multi-million dollar furniture company.

Karen excels at vendor relations, establishing close relationships with companies around the world to ensure that each purchasing project goes as smoothly as possible. Her experience in logistics and project management helps transition purchasing into successful installations, resulting in the highest customer satisfaction. She follows every step of the process with attention to detail and superior organizational skills, making sure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
