All sticks are foraged on walks, picking up what's laying on the ground. Nothing has been cut down. A lot of the sticks have unique textures that time has applied. In a very labor intense process every stick has been hand sanded in multiple steps. To assure that no bugs within the wood every single stick went through a timely heating treatment in a custom built kiln. No chemicals are applied. The metal brackets are custom welded by the artist. The Earthbound series has a very very haptic quality with a more object like appeal.
