The Earth Collection of paper yarn carpets is based on a continuous and natural evolution of Woodnotes paper yarn products. The collection is an elegant combination of pure natural materials, sophisticated earthy colours and the classic and timeless Woodnotes designs. The new colourways are stone-nutria and graphite grey-nutria. The Earth Collection strongly reflects the Woodnotes’ spirit of simplicity, harmony and long-lasting functionality. The strength and durability of paper yarn derive directly from wood fibre. The compactness of the wood fibres and the tight weave of Woodnotes paper yarn carpet ensure that the paper yarn carpet does not gather dust, nor does any dust or fiber come off the carpet, which is an important feature especially for dust allergy sufferers. Materials and dyes are safe for health. The rugs are woven from plant fibers and do not contain any animal-derived finishing materials, so the rugs are 100% vegan.

Woodnotes has specialised in the development and working of spun paper yarn, which is used as material in the production of almost all Woodnotes products. Paper yarn is an authentic, natural material composed of an ecologically produced renewable resource: wood.
The strength and durability of the yarn results from wood fibres. Paper is both hygienic and safe. Due to the density of the fibres, paper yarn collects neither dust nor dirt – an important property, especially for those who suffer from allergies. The paper yarn is spun from kraft paper, which is also used as a raw material in food packaging. Due to the tight weave and choice of material, the carpets do not ignite easily, only the surface becomes charred.
Woodnotes’ paper yarn products are biodegradable, and our white paper is produced without chlorine gas.
