The Neva lounge chair is a modern take on classic Scandinavian artisanal lounge chairs from the mid 20th century, with contemporary simplicity and cleanness. The challenge was to design a product that will be as simple as possible, without overthinking the form and overusing the technology, but maintaining the distinct character of organic and natural forms. Modern technologies such as CNC carving have made it possible for more complex forms to be introduced into serial production, which was in history only reserved for artisanal carpenters. In the spirit of the company, the production of the Neva lounge chair is an elegant dance of modern technology and artisanal handcraft, which are unavoidably overlapped. The lounge collection consists of a lounge chair, and a two-seater and both come in the 'High' and 'Trimmed' design.
