The PIET HEIN chair, designed by Danish artist Piet Hein in 1968, is inspired by his iconic superellipse™ form. Originally designed for his superelliptical table but never produced, Sibast Furniture has now launched it in collaboration with Hein’s family. It features a black steel frame, walnut or oak veneer seat and back, optional wool or leather upholstery, and versions with or without armrests.
