The PIET HEIN chair, designed by Danish artist Piet Hein in 1968, is based on his iconic superellipse™ form. Originally created for his superelliptical table, it was never produced until Sibast Furniture revived it with Hein’s family. The chair features walnut or oak veneer, a black steel frame, and optional wool or leather upholstery. It is available as a barstool in two heights, with or without armrests.
