The PIET HEIN chair is based on Piet Hein’s iconic superellipse™ shape, developed through mathematical studies for Sergels Torg in Stockholm. Designed in 1968, the chair reflects his ability to combine geometric precision with functional design. Originally created for his superelliptical table, it remained unproduced until Sibast Furniture revived it in collaboration with his family, preserving Hein’s distinctive vision in a timeless contemporary form.
