The “Hug” Chair is a concept design result of a long development and iterations reflecting on the act of sitting and ultimately, taking the chair’s perspective on it. Kilzi’s furniture attempts to bring life and sensibility to historically inert pieces with a silent roll in the human life. They feed from the ideas of Shinto and animism as well as personal experiences as a kid where objects and art played s huge roll in their companionship in a moving environment.
